I am very thankful that I was given a chance to attend a Tattoo Artist Summit
a few months ago. Gosh, attending this summit was a one of a kind experience for
me because there are a lot of tattoo artist from other countries who came to
showcase and share their latest designs. Here, I came to know Jayson, he is a
local tattoo artist. I asked him a few question, sort of interview thing:
1) Why do you become a tattoo artist?
"It all started with a joke promise. My friends used tease me that I am a gay,
and I want to prove them wrong. That’s why I decided to put tattoo all over my
body just to prove to them know that I am a real man. And after doing it, it
convinced them pretty hard enough and stopped teasing me, then I also realized
why not study this body art and start make money from it."
2) What do you feel after you finished one tattoo artwork?
"Of course I am happy and proud because it’s not easy to put tattoo especially
when you see your client suffering the pain on what you are doing"
3) Where do you get your design?
"Some of my designs are my masterpieces, some came from my friends, but I got
most of the designs from the online portal www.tattoomenow.com. This site is so
cool because they have 3,523 designs (still growing in numbers) that you can
modify and print out. There is also Member’s gallery, Studio directory,
Discussion forums, and Video vault for Tattoo fanatic"
So for aspiring tattoo artists out there try to visit the site that Jayson
recommended because even I got interested in the site. It's really a great
portal whether you are a tattoo artists or just a tattoo fanatic.
